So here's my dilemma: I've just finished reading The Raven Cycle series, and before that, The Song of Achilles. The book hangover is rough. Can you please rec me something that won't be a letdown or pale in comparison?

bonewitches:

i see your problem

  • the winner’s curse by marie rutkoski (the first book is kind of slow to begin with admittedly but when it picks up holy shit does it pick up)
  • unspoken by sarah rees brennan (honestly why there arent more people worshipping this author absolutely defeats me)
  • i’ll give you the sun by jandy nelson (you will most probably cry)
  • the young elites by marie lu (marie lu is probably an actual goddess)
  • vicious by v e schwab (something v e schwabs books have in common is that theyre slow build books but the writing is great and at some point youll end up finding youve spent about 3 hours straight reading to finish it)
  • daughter of smoke and bone by laini taylor (the writing is beautiful and also the world she creates holy fuck)
  • cold magic by kate elliott (a m a z i n g female leads plus some more great characters omg)
  • the secret history by donna tartt (immediately after reading this i had exactly the problem you have now)
  • aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe by benjamin alire saenz (you will cry)
  • last night i sang to the monster by benjamin alire saenz (is2g b.a.s has a direct line to how to make me cry)

i hope that helps!
